About us

My passion for all things stained glass started with the study of stained glass, at a College of Art in North Wales along with self-study of literature and much research. I then progressed to designing, creating, the restoration and repair of Tiffany lamps, stained glass and leaded windows including commissions for worldwide distribution while working as an apprentice for a stained glass and leaded window company in North Wales.

After several years I had developed my gift for the design, restoration, conservation and repair of leaded windows and all forms of stained glass windows, including commercial, architectural, domestic and ecclesiastical restoration and repair, and both private and commercial commissions.

After many years of perfecting the art of stained glass, which has taken me and my skills from north wales to London, Jersey and then eventually returning home to North Wales to continue my career working with stained glass and leaded windows.  I found myself becoming fascinated by the diversity and flexibility of hot-glass working, in the form of fused glass, slumping and casting, using a Kiln to produce both decorative and practical pieces of fused glass art, Including glass Bowls, glass plates, glass coasters, glass wall tiles and glass pendants.  All of which make ideal, unusual and unique gifts.

In 2005 "Glass Inspirations" was born in North Wales, specialising in the restoration, repair and commissions of stained glass windows, the design and creation of high quality, contemporary and traditional fused glass gifts, including glass bowls, glass plates, glass coasters, glass wall tiles and glass pendants.  Stained glass and leaded windows.
